This module emphasizes on the Sems that facilitate real time communication between the users on the layer.

The meeting Sem enables real time communication between the users on the layer. It enables the online users to exchange information instantaneously. Avoid barriers of distance, place and physical separation. Everymeeting carries with it the added power of context.

Fields:
Title of the meeting - The title for the meeting.
Participants - The user ID's of the members to be invited to the meeting. Multiple user ID’s can be entered in the field separated by commas.

How to initiate a Meeting
Step 1: Click the desired space to get the shuttle.
Step 2: Click the shuttle link to get the expanded shuttle.
Step 3: Select the 'meeting' link from the list of Sems displayed or type 'meet' in the input field and hit "Go". You will get a form with the above-mentioned fields.
Step 4: Provide the details in the respective fields.
Step 5: Click the 'submit' button to submit the form. A meeting is initiated.
Step 6:To call more members, click on "PARTICIPANTS" and fill the corresponding form.
Step 7:Click the 'submit' button to submit the form.

The participants get meeting calls after the meeting gets initiated. The members can join the meeting by clicking on the 'Accept' link or refuse to join by clicking on the 'Cancel' link.

The Presentation Sem is used for conducting virtual presentations. These virtual presentations enable geographically dispersed members of a team to virtually attend team meetings, brainstorm on various business related issues and discuss the future course of business activities. The virtual presentations are also an effective means of imparting enterprise wide training and knowledge on new product and organizational developments.

How to create a presentation:
Step 1: Click the desired space to get the shuttle.
Step 2: Click the shuttle link to get the expanded shuttle.
Step 3: Click the '[+]' link that appears next to the 'File' link on the expanded shuttle interface. Select the 'Presentation' link from the list of Sems displayed. You will get a form with the above-mentioned fields.
Step 4: Provide the details in the respective fields.
Step 5: Click the 'submit' button to submit the form.

Note: The slides can be moved back and forth by clicking on the forward /backward pointing direction arrows.

The slides can be zoomed in, zoomed out or restored back to their original size by using the mentioned features.
|
|
The participants of the virtual presentation can control the presentation by becoming the moderator of the presentation; you can become the Moderator by clicking on the “Make me Moderator” link.
|
|
The participants of the presentation can have chat sessions within the context of the presentation. The chat area remains static throughout the presentation even when the presentation slides are being moved back and forth.
