Shuttle

The shuttle (as shown above) is a dynamic contextual menu bar that appears wherever you click. Once the shuttle appears we can simply start typing the message, the message will appear in the shuttle even as we type (as shown below), the message can then be submitted by pressing the Enter key or clicking on the submit link that appears in the shuttle.

Expanded shuttle - The shuttle can be expanded using the [+] sign to display a dynamic array of objects called semantic objects (sems). These sems are categorised as per the list on the right of the expanded shuttle, for eg. Standard, Alert, Expression etc are categories of sems. Each of these categories of sems have numerous semantic objects which bring context and meaning to a conversation.

Apart from these the shuttle also has basic sems like Say, Ask, Link and File which appear on the shuttle. These can be used without having to expand the shuttle and they provide a quick way to express like in the case of File, on click a form opens with a browse window through which a file can be submitted.

The expanded shuttle can be collapsed using the [-] sign that appears in place of the [+] sign.
