Times Page

The Times page concept has been derived from the everyday Newspaper which we are familiar with. The Newspaper gives us an update of all events that occured in the past 24 hours, in easy to locate sections, which are contextual. Similarly, the Colayer Times page gives the user a single page update of all conversations/activities that occured since his last login. These updates appear beneath respective "comties" in a contextual format as shown below.

The times page is the first view after login for a user thus providing an instant update of all conversations related with all the comties(departments) that the user is registered to.

Further more the user can respond to messages on the times page itself without having to expand the comty, as shown below. All messages replied on the times page will be reflected in the comty view and vice versa.

This is what a typical Times Page looks like:

Each of the green horizontal bars on the Times Page represents a community(comty) and any new information exchanged within these specific comties appears directly underneath the green bar representing that comty. The user has to register to the respective comties for them to appear on the Times Page. The community branch structure on the Times Page is a representation of the way the Comties are arranged on the Platform.

The Times page view includes a navigational bar which enables the users to search on the layer, create/update his personal profile, access the root comty on the layer and sign out.

How to use the links on the Navigational bar:

The "Search" utility enables the user to carry out search queries to retrieve specific information from the Platform. The "Profile" link enables the user to provide his professional and personal information. Clicking on the "Home" link will take the user to a page displaying all the communities the user has access to, these communities would be listed under a "root comty" which is the Parent comty of the hub and this list of communities is called the "Navigation Structure".
